At SAB Couriers, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our partners and contractors . In particular, we want you to know that SAB Couriers is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.
Type of data we collect
Your name and personal information you provided on our application form by yourself (Name, phone number, email address, address history, Mothers maiden name, date of birth, country of birth, town of birth, National Insurance number, Nationality, gender)
your contact details: address history in the last 7 years, telephone number, email address
performance figures, such as delivery success data and spent hours on road
bank account details for payment purposes
your live location when you are delivering for us
text conversation via “whatsapp” or normal SMS text
UTR number
Vat number
delivery vehicle information: registration number, make and model, mot certificate expiry date, road tax expiry date, random van inspection sheets
Insurance certificate for legal purposes: Goods in transit, Public liability, Employers liability, Motor vehicle insurance
copy of personal documents provided by you, such as passport, driving licence, national insurance number, proof of address, etc
invoices
drug and alcohol testing results (we do share this information with our service partners or companies we provide services to)
daily mileage and return data provided by you
photos related to daily operation
concession review sheets and improvement notice sheets
As part of the registration process, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
What we use your data for
We use your data to carry out necessary checks (DVLA check, background check, CRB certificate, etc.) in order to onboard you and welcome in our team. Also carry out regular and random drug and alcohol, DVLA and vehicle checks periodically to make sure your and our customers safety and stay compliant towards the government.
We also hold the right to share your data with the council or government in specific cases.
Performance data used to monitor the delivery performance of the contractor and provide helpful suggestions and ability to review if the provided services meets requirements.
Who we share your data with
We do share most of the above mentioned information with all the companies we provided services to. All the information transferred via secured channels such as dropbox or google drive. Performance data is shared collectively between the contractors, if you don’t want this to happen, please see below.

How we keep your data secure
We keep all your data securely saved in our google drive and also keep a hard copy of all of the signed documents by you in our registered office (AVD weekly sheet, Key chain confirmation sheet, availability sheets, contract and endorsements, all signed policies, etc) in closed filing cabinets.
